1 dead, 6 hospitalized after drive-by shooting outside Miami funeral home Mar 31st 2012, 03:52 MIAMI –  One person was shot dead and another six people were injured in an apparent drive-by shooting outside a funeral home in Miami on Friday night. Local station WSVN-TV reported the shooting occurred as mourners gathered for the funeral of a boy who died recently. Three of the injured victims were airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, while three were taken to another hospital. The seventh victim is believed to have died at the scene. The Miami Herald reported that a person opened fire from inside a car driving past the mourners outside the funeral home. No further details were immediately available.
