Marine pleads not guilty to murder of fellow Marine's wife in Southern California Apr 26th 2012, 17:32 VISTA, Calif. –  San Diego County prosecutors say the blood of a Marine's 22-year-old wife and a weapon were found in the car of another Marine charged with killing her. The disclosure Thursday comes after 45-year-old Louis Ray Perez pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the death of Brittany Killgore. Bail is set at $3 million. Prosecutor Patrick Espinoza says Killgore sent a text message to a friend pleading for help after making plans to go out with Perez and another woman. Authorities say Perez told police he was with Killgore in San Diego, but investigators later learned that they were about 60 miles to the north in Fallbrook. Killgore's body was found near Lake Skinner in Riverside County. Her husband was deployed to Afghanistan at the time.
