Armed man reportedly barricaded in crane cab on Texas campus May 28th 2012, 17:33 Southern Methodist University campus in Dallas was on lockdown Monday after police responded to reports of an armed man barricaded in the cab of a crane. Police said the man, wanted in an early-morning carjacking, was hurling his shoes and other items at officers and threatening to jump, MyFoxDFW.com reported. In addition to campus police, air, tactical and sniper units from Dallas and Highland Park were called to help. Several streets surrounding the university were shut down.
