4 Boston airport workers hospitalized after suspicous bag emits noxious odor Mar 26th 2012, 14:37 BOSTON –  A noxious odor coming from a passenger's bag at Boston's Logan International Airport sent four Transportation Security Administration officials to the hospital. Airport spokesman Phil Orlandella says the odor was noticed at about 8 a.m. Monday in a Terminal A bag room and prompted a hazardous materials response. The odor caused the evacuation of 15 TSA employees from the room after someone opened the bag. Some employees complained of eye or throat problems or headaches. Four were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital as a precaution. Authorities say no passengers were affected. He says state police are checking the bag and questioning the owner. There was no word on what caused the odor or if terrorism was suspected. Terminal A handles flights from carriers Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines.
